As of April 22, 2020: For those of you that have not seen Governor Bullock is implementing phase 1 of re-opening the Big Sky. What I want to make clear is that for ORI we will not be making any changes at this time! The restrictions we currently have in place and our current ORI COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Response Plan remain in place until further notice. One of the key points to phase 1 of the state’s plan is that ALL VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS should continue to follow the stay home guidance, and the majority of individuals we serve are vulnerable. We understand that we are all feeling some amount of fear and anxiety, and we are all ready to be back to some kind of normal. Over the next couple weeks we will be working to slowly make changes but those changes will be very slow. We I can’t stress enough that every step we are taking now and in the weeks to come will be to protect those we serve and each other. As of April 22, 2020: •The restrictions below as well as the ORI COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Response Plan are extended until further notice •At ORI’s Main office (Russell Street) we are asking all of our client members to stay home and the building is closed to all visitors. Building hours have been reduced to 9:00AM to 4:00PM •There will be no outside visitors to any of our facilities •If you are sick, notify your supervisor immediately and stay home •If you have traveled please talk with your supervisor before returning to work •Please re-read the ORI COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Response Plan •Follow the precautions outlined in the ORI COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Response Plan at all sites at all times •The CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators Here are a few more tips, and some great suggestions, for these weird times. Help others. Find something you can control and control the heck out of it. Organize your junk drawer. Make a delicious soup. Dress for dinner. Find a long-term project to dive into. Find an expressive or creative art form to engage in. Find lightness and humor in each day. Reach out for help virtually to your physician, therapist, counselor, friend. "Chunk" your quarantine - block times to be concerned and assess the events of the day - then stop. Remind yourself daily that this is temporary.
